With Fiorentina slowly making their way up the Serie A log<\/a>, La Viola could make it two wins on the bounce when they take on Lazio at home next Monday.<\/p>\n

Following a rocky start to the season Fiorentina found themselves lingering in the bottom half of the table for much of the 2025\/26 campaign. However, with two wins and two stalemates in their last five matches, Fiorentina have moved away from the drop zone and will enter their next game sitting in 15th\u00a0position on 32 points from 15 games.<\/p>\n

As it stands, Fiorentina are five points from the relegation zone, while Lazio are in ninth position with 44 points from 31 matches.<\/p>\n

Lazio will go into their next Serie A assignment on the back of a 1-1 draw with Parma as their three-match winning streak came to an end.<\/p>\n

After a decent run of form, Lazio have noted three victories, one draw and one defeat in their last handful of league encounters.<\/p>\n

In assessing Fiorentina\u2019s 1-0 win over Verona this past Saturday, Paolo Vanoli expressed that his side favoured brawn over beauty and that points were the foremost aspect in their minds throughout the match.<\/p>\n

“In these situations, points count more than aesthetics,\u201d Vanoli said.<\/p>\n

\u201cToday I saw a team that wanted to take home the three points. Sometimes there are events in your favor, sometimes against.<\/p>\n

\u201cFagioli shoot well at me from the edge of the box.”<\/p>\n
