After clawing their way back to victory against Napoli during matchday three in Serie A<\/a>, Inter Milan will now set their sights on facing Udinese on home soil next Monday as they look to extend their winning streak in the league.<\/span><\/p>\n

While Rasmus Hojlund put Napoli ahead by two goals shortly before the hour-mark on Saturday, Inter fought back through goals by Marcus Thuram and Lautaro Martinez (2) to claim a 3-2 win at San Siro in their latest Serie A assignment.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The win saw Inter collect nine points from three matches in second position after noting impressive wins over Monza and Cagliari in their first two league outings of the season.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Udinese recorded a mixed bag of results in their first three Serie A matches as they occupy 10th\u00a0on the table heading into matchday four.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Udine side suffered a 2-1 defeat against Lazio at home Monday as they were unable to build on their 2-1 victory over the newly promoted Monza in the prior fixture. Additionally, Udinese noted a 1-1 draw alongside Como to start the season, which added to their four-point tally currently.<\/span><\/p>\n

Speaking on Inter\u2019s comeback win over Napoli, Cristian Chivu expressed his delight at having to fight from being 2-0 down and that they managed to maintain their identity throughout the 90 minutes.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

“We have to compliment Napoli because they’re a strong side, well-coached and filled with match-winners,\u201d Chivu said.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cWe could have handled the first goal better, and conceding the second was a consequence of overthinking what went wrong on the opener. But I loved the reaction. The team didn’t lose its head and maintained its identity.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cPulling it back to 2-1 gave us extra hope while knowing we couldn’t take wild risks. Ultimately, our courage was rewarded.”<\/span><\/p>\n
