As a two-time major championship winner heading into the 2026 Rocket Classic tournament, Wyndham Clark will no doubt be excited to bag the elusive crown at the Detroit Golf Club this week.
Yet to win the Rocket Classic, Clark will come into the showpiece as a top contender, sitting in ninth position on the world rankings.
Before turning professional in 2017, Clark spent the majority of his amateur career in Colorado where he made a name for himself as a talented up-and-coming golfer.
As a former two-time Colorado Class 4A State Championship winner, Clark also claimed the Colorado Stroke Play in 2014 before winning the Arizona Intercollegiate, Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate and Pac-12 Championship in 2017.
With five PGA Tour trophies to his name, Clark is the reigning 2026 US Open champion, while he also won the competition back in 2023.
Clark’s first win as a professional came in May 2023, where he finished in first-place at the Wells Fargo Championship, four strokes ahead of fellow Rocket Classic contender Xander Schauffele.
Additionally, Clark also took home the 2024 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am crown, while he reigned supreme at the 2026 CJ Cup Byron Nelson in May, finishing three strokes ahead of Kim Si-woo.
