Marco Bezzecchi will be eager to successfully defend his British MotoGP crown after missing the recent German Grand Prix.

The Italian Grand Prix motorcycle racer suffered a difficult run of results, culminating in a collarbone fracture sustained during qualifying for the 2026 German MotoGP on July 12.
Bezzecchi was forced to sit out both the Sprint and the Grand Prix, missing the chance to score points while rivals closed in.

Bezzecchi sits fourth in the 2026 MotoGP Riders’ standings with 186 points, having been leapfrogged by two rivals.
The man nicknamed Simply The Bez trails championship leader Jorge Martín by 22 points, with Ai Ogura (194) and Marc Márquez (190) also ahead.
