Bezzecchi eyes improved performances at Aragon

With Aprilia throwing their weight around on the 2026 MotoGP calendar, Marco Bezzecchi will aim to keep up with the pace set by Jorge Martin at MotorLand Aragon this weekend.

Yet to win a MotoGP title, Bezzecchi is among the top contenders for the 2026 crown heading into the midway point of the season, sitting in second position with 209 points.

Still 31 points behind teammate Jorge Martin, Bezzecchi boasts seven podiums and four wins so far. His most recent victory was at the Italian MotoGP in May where he finished with a time of 0:40:57.347, +3.559s ahead of Martin at the Mugello Circuit.

Following a third-place finish at Silverstone earlier this month, Bezzecchi expressed that he endured a physical battle in England and now looks to improve heading into Spain this weekend.

“I’ll definitely have to grit my teeth; I can’t give you a percentage because I want to wait and see,” Bezzecchi said.

“You know, the jump from the Aprilia RSV4 to MotoGP is huge, and the physical demands I faced at Silverstone were intense.

“I hope it goes better at Aragon.”
