Betway Big Easy Tour 8
Benoni Lake Golf Club
Benoni, South Africa
September 21-23, 2026
Prize fund: R150 000
As the initial winner of the Betway Big Easy Tour, Jordan Wessels will look to further his points tally behind Wandre Snyman as he prepares to do well in the Big Easy Tour 8 in Benoni this week.
Wessels currently occupies second position on the Big Easy Tour standings with 790.31 points after participating in 13 tournaments. The South African faces stiff competition from third-placed Daniel Smith, with the Englishman not far behind with 757.39 points.
Benoni appears to be a happy hunting ground for Wessels, particularly after he won the Betway Big Easy Tour 1 trophy at the Benoni Country Club in May, finishing -13 to par while Slade Pickering and Brandon Gildenhuys shared second position.
Additionally, Wessels was a star performer at the Big Easy Tour 4 in June where he was pipped by Jacques van der Merwe to first position via a playoff at the Glenvista Country Club.
Overall, Wessels has claimed six top-10 finishes this year and hopes to increase his R78 273 career prize money at the Big Easy Tour 8 this week.
As Wessels continues to showcase his talents as a rising South African golfer, the 21-year-old has recorded 111 Eagles and 114 Birdies in his career so far.
