World no. 12 Russell Henley will go in search of his first PGA Tour victory this year at the Charles Schwab Challenge from 28-31 May.
The American is one of seven players in the OWGR top 20 competing at Colonial, where he will make only his third appearance since turning professional in 2011.
Henley finished T58 on his first outing to Fort Worth in 2018 and improved markedly on his return five years later when he placed T16.
The 37-year-old has enjoyed a solid year thus far, achieving three top 10s and only finishing outside the top 20 five times out of the 11 events he’s participated in, most recently missing the cut at the PGA Championship
Henley’s best performance came at the Masters Tournament when he carded a 10-under 278 to finish two strokes behind back-to-back champion Rory McIlroy in T3.
The 2025 United States Ryder Cup team member recently became Pinnacle Financial Partners’ first golfing brand ambassador following the bank’s merger with Synovus, with whom he extended his relationship earlier this year.
