Matchday 36
Verona v Como
Marcantonio Bentegodi Stadium
Verona, Italy
Sunday, 10 May 2026
Kick-off is at 12:30
Given their status as one of the surprise packages of the 2025/26 Serie A season, Como will now travel to face Verona in their next league assignment after dropping points against Napoli recently.
Como will go into their next encounter sitting in sixth place on 62 points, two points adrift of the Europa League spot and three points behind the UEFA Champions League zone with three games left to play.
Following a goalless draw against Napoli during Matchday 35, Como stifled much-needed momentum given their 2-0 win over Genoa in the prior fixture.
As for their form across the last five matches, Como recorded one win, two losses and two stalemates as they slipped down the order in the top six.
Verona, who have already been relegated from Serie A, currently sit in 19th position with 20 points from 35 matches.
Following a 1-1 draw with Juventus in their most recent game, Verona noted two stalemates on the bounce while they also recorded three consecutive losses in their previous handful of Serie A games.

Speaking after Como’s draw with Napoli, Cesc Fabregas mentioned that he was angry at the result but at the same time, praised his side for showing character against top quality opposition.
“It depends on the circumstances. Deep down, considering where we were a year and a half ago, I am very proud,” Fabregas said.
“At the same time, I am angry that we didn’t win, because we prepared for this game to win. Let’s not forget that young guys fought against champions like McTominay, and I’m pleased with that, but not with the result, because I wanted to win.”
