Marco Bezzecchi will look to capitalise on his early-season dominance and extend his advantage in the championship at the French MotoGP.

The Aprilia rider produced another commanding display at the 2026 Spanish MotoGP at Jerez (Round 4) on 26 April.
Bezzecchi converted pole position into a controlled victory, taking 25 points and strengthening his position at the top of the standings.

The 27-year-old currently leads the 2026 MotoGP Riders’ standings with 101 points after four rounds.
Bezzecchi holds a 30-point advantage over Fabio Di Giannantonio in third and an 11-point lead over Jorge Martin in second.

“I like Le Mans, and the fans there are incredible,” Bezzecchi said about the French MotoGP, as the Rimini-born rider looks to win the event for the second time having won it in 2023.
“I’m happy to be racing there now, and it was important to finish this weekend well before heading there. Now I have to stay focused for tomorrow’s test, which will be very important, and then we’ll think about Le Mans.”
