With Napoli securing UEFA Champions League football for next season, Antonio Conte and his charges will now shift their attention to Udinese in the final Serie A assignment of the 2025/26 campaign.

After conceding the Serie A title to Inter Milan, Napoli target UEFA Champions League football as their nearest mandate for the season.

Their targets was eventually achieved during a 3-0 win over Pisa last time out as they took their tally to 73 points from 37 matches. Overall, Napoli will end their season on an inconsistent run of form, recording two wins, two losses and one draw in their last five matches.

Udinese will have to settle for a mid-table finish this season as they head into their last encounter in 10th position.

The Udine outfit currently has 50 points to their name following their 1-0 loss against Cremonese during Matchday 37.

Regarding their form, Udinese managed to record two wins, two defeats and one stalemate in their previous handful of Serie A fixtures.

Speaking ahead of Napoli’s final match of the season, Conte dropped a major exit hint after being linked with a move away from Stadio Diego Armando Maradona in the last couple of weeks.

“There is one more match to go, I have a friendly rapport with the President,” Conte said.

“I arrived at Napoli during a moment of extreme difficulty, after the team finished in 10th place with a sense of depression around the club.

“I promised that when my time here was finished, I would leave behind a solid and ambitious group, capable of fighting and always causing problems for its opponents.”
