Pedro Acosta will aim to bounce back strongly on home soil and push closer to the championship leaders at the 2026 Catalan MotoGP.

The Red Bull KTM rider delivered a strong fifth-place finish at the 2026 French MotoGP at Le Mans on 10 May, finishing just under three seconds behind the winner.
Acosta showed impressive pace throughout the weekend and described it as one of his best performances at Le Mans.

The Spaniard is placed fourth in the 2026 MotoGP Riders’ standings with 83 points after five rounds.
Acosta is just one point behind third-placed Fabio Di Giannantonio and within striking distance of the Aprilia leaders.

“It’s clear we need to improve a few things but I’m happy for my best weekend in Le Mans so far. Also happy with my start; that was quite nice, and also the first 10-12 laps.
“The second 10, the rear dropped. It looks like the bike is better than we had in Jerez and I’m happy to be back near the front again.”
