Matt Fitzpatrick will team up with his brother, Alex, for the fourth year running at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans from 23-26 April.

Matt, who is the highest-ranked player in the field at No.3 in the world, first appeared alongside Alex at TPC Louisiana in 2023 when they finished T19.

The British siblings returned to Avondale the following year with an improved T11 finish, but struggled in 2025 as they missed the cut.

Matt has enjoyed a fine start to 2026, winning the Valspar Championship and the RBC Heritage, while claiming second place at the Players Championship.

Alex competes on the DP World Tour and recently won his maiden title at the Indian Open, holding off the challenge of Eugenio Chacarra to triumph by two strokes.

It was the world No. 141’s second top 10 of the year after he achieved T6 at the Joburg Open earlier last month. In fact the 27-year-old has finished inside the top 20 in five of the seven events he’s participated in.

Older brother Matt won for the second time at Harbour Town after he beat Scottie Scheffler in a playoff and admitted it holds a special place in his heart, having holidayed at the resort town with his family as a youngster.

“To go out today and go toe-to-toe with Scottie and get over the line there on the 73rd is special,” the 31-year-old said.

“This is a tournament I wanted to win growing up arguably more than any of the majors, before I kind of understood more about the game. But to win it twice means the world.”
