After stumbling in their quest for the 2025/26 Serie A title in their most recent match, Napoli will now look to get back to winning ways when they face Lazio at the infamous Stadio Diego Armando Maradona on Saturday.
Napoli currently occupies second place on the table after noting 66 points from 32 games, trailing table toppers Inter Milan by nine points.
The reigning Serie A champions saw a five-match winning streak come to and end during their last league outing as they could only manage a 1-1 away draw against Parma last Sunday.
Overall, Napoli have now recorded one draw and four victories in their last handful of league games, while Lazio registered three wins, one draw and one defeat in the same number of games.
Lazio will head into their next tie sitting in ninth position, with 44 points after 32 games played. However, dampening their progress, Lazio suffered a narrow 1-0 loss to Fiorentina in their most recent outing on Monday night.

Reflecting on Napoli’s title charge, Antonio Conte refused to throw in the towel as they aim to claim back-to-back league titles.
“The dream is not extinguished, there are six games left, and Inter still have to play.
“It’s a bold dream, seeing Inter’s numbers so far, and it’s linked to those in front of us.
“We continue to do what we are doing, we come from five wins, and we drew on a difficult field. It’s a shame, because we could have put 2 more points.”
